It's been a while since I made a necklace or bracelet, so I decided to give one a try. The result was this cute Bead Soup necklace, a spinoff of my Bead Soup lanyards in which I pretty much use everything but the kitchen sink.
This design is princess length—about 18 inches end to end—and closes with a nifty magnetic clasp. It's got glass and crystal and metal beads and is colorful enough to complement just about any outfit or uniform.
Whenever I complete a Bead Soup project I am amazed at how so many different beads can look so good together. Variety really is the spice of beading!
