Thinking spring!

I know it's early, but with the passing of Thanksgiving my beading brain wants to think spring! All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray (wait, isn't that a song?), so I've got the urge to work with lime green, hot pink and bright yellow.

Perhaps it's a subliminal desire to zoom past the cold, wind, ice and snow, but I've got spring designs in mind. One reminds me of the fragrant purple hyacinths that bloom like clockwork each March. Another celebrates the delicate daffodils that provide the cheery encouragement we need to make it through another month of cold. My favorite so far is Lights Out, glowing in the dark with lime green, white, and a chain of rainbow-colored seed beads.

By bringing spring indoors to the beading table, I should be able to make it through the next four months!
