Oh what fun it is to browse

Browsing through the shops on Etsy, I've discovered such incredible handmade items. It's mind-boggling when you realize that so many different artists, given the same basic tools, can come up with so many variations on a product. Give 50 knitters the same needles and yarn, and you'll get 50 different creations.

There are so many things I'd like to try one day: making glass and polymer clay beads would be at the top of the list. Needle-felting is there, although I'm not sure what it is. I just know the end products are neat. I'm intrigued by jewelry made from found items, like pencils, buttons or bottle caps.

Not only is Etsy a bustling marketplace, it's also a fascinating window into the human mind. Who couldn't spend hours in a place where our imaginations are as distinctive as our fingerprints?
