A lot to be thankful for

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for all those who have purchased my lanyards this year. Your support has made it possible for me to continue beading—the thing that feeds my soul and nourishes my creative spirit.

I am thankful for my blog pals, those who read my mindless wanderings and are kind enough to comment on them, and to those whose blogs inspire and entertain me.

I am most thankful for the love and support of my family, who encourage me to pursue whatever makes me happy. And I would be lost without the companionship of my dog Sophie, who never complains when we listen to the same Alison Krauss CD over and over again.

Each year my husband and I laugh when we fondly remember Thanksgiving dinner with his father, who would raise his glass of tea and declare, sarcastically, "Well, we've got a lot to be thankful for."

No sarcasm here. I really do have a lot to be thankful for.
